Step 6: Bring to a boil.
Step 7: Cover and reduce heat, and simmer, stirring occasionally, 30 minutes.
Step 8: Simmer, uncovered 20 minutes stirring often.
Step 9: Stir in parsley and remaining ingredients.
Step 10: Cook stirring often, 5 minutes.
Step 11: Discard bay leaf.
