Step 2: Whisk together the ketchup, chicken broth, garlic powder, dried oregano, and dried thyme. Pour enough in a small casserole dish to cover the bottom.
Step 3: Season the chicken with salt and pepper and place in the casserole dish.
Step 4: Place the chopped onion over the chicken and pour the remaining ketchup mixture over the top of the chicken and onions.
Step 5: Cover and cook for 45 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through. This will depend on how thick your chicken pieces are.
Step 6: Serve with rice, french fries, or mashed potatoes to drizzle the juices over.
