Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 cups thinly sliced potatoes, uncooked
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper, divided (or you can use more to your taste)
  • 1 pound ground beef, cooked and drained
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen corn, thawed
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted (or you can use whatever condensed soup you like)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper or you can use as much pepper as you want to use
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped yellow onion
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place the potatoe slices in a large bowl. Drizzle with melted butter then season with salt and pepper. Arrange the potatoes in the bottom of a greased 13x9-inch baking pan. Bake uncovered at 400° for 25-30 minutes or until potatoes are almost tender.

  • Step 2: Sprinkle cooked beef and corn over potatoes. Combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic, chopped onion and 1/2 cup cheese and 1/2 teaspoon pepper; pour over beef mixture.

  • Step 3: Bake, uncovered at 400° for 20 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Sprinkle with remaining 1 cup of cheese. Bake 2-3 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.
