Step 1: Heat oil in stockpot.
Step 2: Add onions and celery.
Step 3: Cook until translucent.
Step 4: Add carrots.
Step 5: Stir around and add everything else but horseradish..
Step 6: Simmer 60 minutes.
Step 7: Remove clove and bay leaf.
Step 8: Add horseradish and season to taste.
