  • 15 ounces white kidney beans (1 can)
  • 1 pound potatoes, peeled, diced (2)
  • 6 cups water
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/16 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vegeta seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar, to taste
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons flour

How to Make

  • Step 1: When the water is boiling, add all the spices and then diced peeled potatoes and canned beans.

  • Step 2: Season with salt, pepper and Vegeta seasoning to taste.

  • Step 3: When the potatoes are soft, about 30 minutes, remove bay leaf.

  • Step 4: Thicken the soup with sour cream in which was mixed with 2 tablespoons of flour.

  • Step 5: Simmer well until thickened.

  • Step 6: Add vinegar to taste.
