  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 10 ounces frozen spinach, thawed
  • 1 1/2 cups white sauce
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 8 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded

How to Make

  • Step 1: Season pork chops to taste.

  • Step 2: Dredge in seasoned flour.

  • Step 3: Heat oil and brown chops.

  • Step 4: Cover simmer on low 15 minutes, (original recipe calls for 30 minutes)

  • Step 5: Put spinach in bottom of 9x13 casserole

  • Step 6: Put chops on top of spinach beat the egg yolks into sauce.

  • Step 7: Pour over chops season lightly.

  • Step 8: Top with cheese.

  • Step 9: Cover bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees F uncovering the last 10 minutes so cheese gets toasted.
