The ingredients are:
  • 4 ounces bacon, (4 strips)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 16 ounces coleslaw mix (1 package)
  • 1 cup onions, sliced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon caraway seeds
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
  • Pasta
  • 8 ounces dry angel hair pasta, pot sized
  • 6 cups water, boiling
  • 1 teaspoon salt

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook pasta in heavily salted boiling water until al dente, drain and save 1/2 cup.

  • Step 2: Meanwhile fry bacon until crispy.

  • Step 3: Remove.

  • Step 4: Add butter and onion to pan and add coleslaw mix.

  • Step 5: Cook until caramelized.

  • Step 6: Add seasoning to taste and add broth.

  • Step 7: Add cooked pasta and water to finish adding in coleslaw mix.

  • Step 8: At very end add bacon and toss.
