The ingredients are:
  • Gnocchi
  • 16 ounces potato gnocchi (1 package)
  • 6 cups water, boiling
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, smashed
  • 15 ounces whole tomatoes, crushed (1 can)
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes
  • 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, torn

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  • Step 2: Pam spray a 9x9 casserole dish.

  • Step 3: Heat oil and add garlic, cherry tomatoes and canned tomatoes.

  • Step 4: Cook until cherry tomatoes pop and season to taste.

  • Step 5: Meanwhile cook gnocchi in heavily salted boiling water.

  • Step 6: Cook until floating.

  • Step 7: Remove to sauce.

  • Step 8: Adding 1/4 cup water and cook until bubbly.

  • Step 9: Add basil and add to casserole dish.

  • Step 10: Stir in half the cheese.

  • Step 11: Top with the rest of cheese.

  • Step 12: Bake until browned and bubbly 30 minutes.
