Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 6 cups water
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 tablespoon chicken bouillon
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 pounds whole chicken
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 1/2 cup onion, minced
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas
  • 10 ounces frozen green beans
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 cup frozen corn
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, minced
  • 8 ounces dried vermicelli broken

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook chicken with spices, bouillon, onions and carrots in water until cooked.

  • Step 2: Debone and deskin chicken.

  • Step 3: Add chopped chicken back in. (it didn't look like a lot of chicken in it)

  • Step 4: And dried parsley flakes, frozen veggies and mushrooms and simmer 3 minutes.

  • Step 5: Add pasta and cook for 20 minutes, adding water if needed.

  • Step 6: Season to taste.

  • Step 7: Add parsley.
