  • 1 cup onions, minced
  • 12 ounces light cream
  • 4 ounces green chili, diced (1 can)
  • 1/2 cup taco sauce
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 24 ounces cooked chicken breast, diced
  • 8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  • Step 2: Butter 2 quart casserole.

  • Step 3: Heat tortillas in oil and place on paper towels.

  • Step 4: Cut in 4ths.

  • Step 5: Heat onions in oil and add cream.

  • Step 6: Simmer 5 minutes and add taco sauce and green chili.

  • Step 7: Layer in buttered casserole the tortillas, chicken, sauce and cheese.

  • Step 8: Bake uncovered for 45 minutes.
