Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound salami, diced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cups celery, sliced
  • 30 ounces navy beans, undrained (2 cans)
  • 1 cup turnips, diced
  • 4 cups water
  • 28 ounces tomatoes (1 can)
  • 1/4 cup parsley, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 cups cabbage,diced
  • 4 cups zucchini,diced
  • 4 ounces dried macaroni, (1/2 cup)
  • 2 ounces parmesan cheese, grated

How to Make

  • Step 1: In large stockpot, heat oil and fry salami and celery.

  • Step 2: Stir in beans, tomatoes, herbs and water.

  • Step 3: Simmer for 2 hours.

  • Step 4: Stir in cabbage and zucchini.

  • Step 5: Simmer 30 minutes

  • Step 6: Stir in macaroni, adding water as needed.

  • Step 7: Simmer 15 minutes.

  • Step 8: Season to taste.

  • Step 9: Add parmesan as topping, (it was the green one, I Guarantee it lol)
