Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 banana, mashed (you need 1/4 cup mashed banana)
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter or your favorite nut butter
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons almond milk (or fat free milk)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup dried fruit (cranberries, raisins or your favorite dried fruit)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  • Step 2: Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

  • Step 3: In a bowl combine the first 5 ingredients (-vanilla). In another bowl combine the dry ingredients (oats - baking soda). Stir dry mixture into the wet ingredients.

  • Step 4: Stir in dried cranberries (or other dried fruit).

  • Step 5: Using a 1/4 cup measure drop dough in mounds 3 inches apart on the prepared cookie sheet. Using a spatula dipped in water flatten the mounts so you have 2 1/2 inch round cookies which should be about 1/2 inch thick.

  • Step 6: Bake for 14-15 minutes or until cookies are brown and transfer to a wire rack and let cool.

  • Step 7: To store these can be frozen for up to 2 months or at room temperature for up to 3 days.
