Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • Patties
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 1/4 ounce dry beefy onion soup mix (1 envelope)
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Sauce
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 cups fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 3/4 cup beef broth

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine beef, 2 tablespoons of the soup mix, and 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce and mix gently.

  • Step 2: Shape in 4 patties, about 1/2 inch thick.

  • Step 3: Cook patties in skillet in hot oil over medium-high heat 3 minutes or until browned

  • Step 4: Turning once.

  • Step 5: Remove and set aside.

  • Step 6: Meanwhile, in hot skillet cook garlic in butter 30 seconds.

  • Step 7: Add mushrooms.

  • Step 8: Cook and stir 5 minutes or until tender.

  • Step 9: Add broth, remaining Worcestershire sauce and soup mix.

  • Step 10: Stir, scraping up browned bits.

  • Step 11: Add to patties skillet.

  • Step 12: Spoon sauce over.

  • Step 13: Cover and cook over medium-low heat for 8 minutes or until patties are done.
