Step 1: Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Step 2: Melt the butter.
Step 3: Add the onions, turnips, salt, sugar, pepper and paprika.
Step 4: Separate the eggs.
Step 5: Beat the yolks well, then add to the turnip mixture.
Step 6: Beat the egg whites until quite stiff.
Step 7: Fold into the turnip mixture.
Step 8: Bake in a 2-quart buttered casserole for 25 minutes.
