How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

  • Step 2: Melt the butter.

  • Step 3: Add the onions, turnips, salt, sugar, pepper and paprika.

  • Step 5: Beat the yolks well, then add to the turnip mixture.

  • Step 6: Beat the egg whites until quite stiff.

  • Step 7: Fold into the turnip mixture.

  • Step 8: Bake in a 2-quart buttered casserole for 25 minutes.
