Step 1: Add the oil to a large wok or a large frypan over a medium-high heat; add the garlic and shallots, stirring for 1-2 mins until fragrant.
Step 2: Add the bok choy, soy sauce, and sesame oil & cook for 1-2 mins, tossing to coat and then cover until cooked, about 4 minutes or so longer if you want it softer bok choy.
Step 3: Sprinkle bok choy with chilli flakes and serve.
