Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 shallots minced
  • 800 grams baby bok choy, rinsed, cut into quarters, with core intact
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (1 teaspoon if you like heat)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Add the oil to a large wok or a large frypan over a medium-high heat; add the garlic and shallots, stirring for 1-2 mins until fragrant.

  • Step 2: Add the bok choy, soy sauce, and sesame oil & cook for 1-2 mins, tossing to coat and then cover until cooked, about 4 minutes or so longer if you want it softer bok choy.

  • Step 3: Sprinkle bok choy with chilli flakes and serve.
