  • 1 pound dry pinto beans, soaked in water overnight
  • 24 ounces lager beer
  • 14.5 ounce can fire-roasted diced tomatoes
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 1 cup chopped Vidalia onion
  • 2 tablespoons chopped garlic
  • 1 tablespoon beef base or beef bouillon granules
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon ancho chile pepper
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon molasses
  • 1 teaspoon Mexican oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Greek oregano (regular kind)
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
