Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 salmon fish fillets, fresh (skinless)
  • 1/2 cup oil (olive oil)
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, divided (grated)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, finely chopped (can use more if you like)
  • 1 whole lime (juice of 1 lime)
  • Dash of pepper
  • 8 tablespoons butter (thin slabs of butter)
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Presoak cedar plank in water for 2 hours - making sure entire plank is submerged in water. Pat dry.

  • Step 2: Place salmon on plank.

  • Step 3: Combine oil, 1/4 cup of parmesan, basil, garlic,lime juice and pepper. Mix well.

  • Step 4: Spoon the oil mixture over the top of the salmon. Top each salmon fillet with 2 slabs of the butter, followed by the remaining 1/4 c. of parmesan cheese. (Add more if you like).

  • Step 5: Grill over INDIRECT heat for 15-20 minuter or until salmon flakes.
