Step 1: Presoak cedar plank in water for 2 hours - making sure entire plank is submerged in water. Pat dry.
Step 2: Place salmon on plank.
Step 3: Combine oil, 1/4 cup of parmesan, basil, garlic,lime juice and pepper. Mix well.
Step 4: Spoon the oil mixture over the top of the salmon. Top each salmon fillet with 2 slabs of the butter, followed by the remaining 1/4 c. of parmesan cheese. (Add more if you like).
Step 5: Grill over INDIRECT heat for 15-20 minuter or until salmon flakes.
