Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 8 ounces dry macaroni (1 package)
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 pounds sharp cheddar macaroni cheese grated

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain.

  • Step 2: Make a white sauce of the butter, flour, seasonings and milk.

  • Step 3: Stir about half of the cheese into the hot sauce.

  • Step 4: Mix with macaroni.

  • Step 5: Turn into buttered Pam sprayed round 3 quart glass casserole (pyrex)

  • Step 6: Sprinkle with remaining cheese.

  • Step 7: (I would use less the cheese on top myself)

  • Step 8: Bake in a preheated 375-degree oven 25 minutes.

  • Step 9: Remove from oven and let stand 5 minutes before serving.
