  • 6 ounces tomato paste (1 can)
  • 2 tablespoons instant minced onion
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon dry oregano
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 3 cups tomato juice
  • 3 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 8 ounces dry spaghetti

How to Make

  • Step 1: In large stockpot on stove, mix together and brown the ground beef and onions.

  • Step 2: Add tomato paste.

  • Step 3: Add spices to taste.

  • Step 6: Bring to boil and simmer 30 minutes.

  • Step 7: Add 8 oz spaghetti and cook until spaghetti is tender and sauce is thick (about 20 minutes).
