Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 ounces white bread, (4 slices)
  • 2 pounds ground beef, (round)
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 ounces dry onion soup mix (1 package - 4 serving size)
  • 6 ounces V-8 juice (1 can)
  • 1/4 cup catsup

How to Make

  • Step 1: In food processor, process bread into soft crumbs, one slice at a time.

  • Step 2: Combine crumbs with beef, eggs, water, and soup mix.

  • Step 3: Beat with an electric mixer till fairly smooth.

  • Step 4: Drop mixture into a greased 9x5x3 Pyrex loaf pan.

  • Step 5: Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes.

  • Step 6: Carefully pour V-8 Juice around edges of meatloaf and bake 45 min longer.

  • Step 7: Brush catsup on top and bake for 5 min to glaze.
