  • 2 1/2 ounces heavy cream, (1/3 cup)

  • 1/8 teaspoon white pepper
  • Eggs
  • 8 eggs hard boiled, chopped
  • Mustard Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon dry mustard
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • Topping
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 4 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Ham
  • 2 pounds ham steak
  • 2 tablespoons butter

How to Make

  • Step 1: Sauce:

  • Step 2: Heat butter and flour, don't brown.

  • Step 3: Add milk and season to taste.

  • Step 4: Cook on low 5 minutes.

  • Step 5: Mix vinegar and mustard.

  • Step 6: Pour into sauce.

  • Step 7: Simmer 5 minutes.

  • Step 8: Add cream cook 5 minutes.

  • Step 9: Butter 9x9 shallow baking pan. (Pam spray it)

  • Step 10: Put chopped eggs in pan.

  • Step 11: Season lightly.

  • Step 12: Pour sauce over, slather mayonnaise on top sprinkle cheese on top.

  • Step 13: Broil until cheese melts and is golden.

  • Step 14: Meanwhile, lightly brown ham cut into 4 steaks.

  • Step 15: Serve together.
