  • 2 cloves garlic, smashed
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Anaheim chili, minced
  • 1 cup tomatoes, chopped
  • 6 cups vegetable stock
  • Topping
  • 8 ounces queso fresco
  • 1/4 cup green olives
  • 2 tablespoons black olives, sliced

How to Make

  • Step 1: Pasta:

  • Step 2: Stir together 1 cup of the all purpose flour, the masa flour, and salt.

  • Step 3: Combine eggs, water, and olive oil; add to flour and mix well.

  • Step 5: Knead 10 minutes, let rest 10 minutes, roll and cut into thick strips.

  • Step 8: Cook until translucent.

  • Step 9: Add broth simmer.

  • Step 10: Add noodles.

  • Step 11: Cook until floating.

  • Step 12: Bowl up add topping.
