Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 tablespoons mascarpone cheese
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 cup chocolate morsels
  • 2 tablespoons crystallized ginger, chopped
  • 12 pecans, whole and toasted
  • 12 figs, fresh, quarter almost to bottom but leave intact and stems removed
  • Nutmeg, grated, garnish
  • Confectioners sugar, garnish

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a 2 cup microwave-safe bowl add the first 4 ingredients (-ginger) and cook on high for 30 seconds; stir and then cook for additional 15 seconds if mixture is not smooth. Cool for 2-3 minutes.

  • Step 2: On a serving dish, prepare the figs by inserting a pecan into each figs and then drizzle with the chocolate sauce. Sprinkle with nutmeg and confectioners sugar.
