Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • Salmon
  • 2 1/2 pound salmon fillet, skin on, pin bones removed
  • 1 teaspoon Hawaiian sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: Method to prepare the glaze:

  • Step 2: In a small saucepan over medium heat, heat the brown sugar, butter and honey, stirring until melted.

  • Step 3: Remove from the heat, and whisk in the oil, mustard, soy sauce, ginger, and sesame seeds.

  • Step 4: Cool 5 minutes.

  • Step 5: To prepare the salmon:

  • Step 6: Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.

  • Step 7: Place the salmon in a large foil lined baking pan and season with salt and pepper to taste. (President Obama smoked, so he probably needs more seasoning lol.)

  • Step 8: Spoon the glaze over the salmon.

  • Step 9: Bake, uncovered for 20-25 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
