  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup tomato, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 14 ounces cooked white rice (2 cups)
  • Topping
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon chives, minced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, warm 1 tablespoon of oil and sauté the Spam and shoyu for 8 minutes.

  • Step 2: In a second pan, heat 1 tablespoon of oil.

  • Step 3: Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.

  • Step 4: Incorporate the sliced onions.

  • Step 5: Add the shredded cabbage and sauté until softened.

  • Step 6: Pour in the soy sauce.

  • Step 7: Season with salt and black pepper, continuing to cook until the cabbage becomes tender.

  • Step 8: Introduce the beaten egg into the mixture.

  • Step 9: Stir the ingredients to combine.

  • Step 10: Add the cooked white rice to the pan.

  • Step 11: Stir the rice into the mixture.

  • Step 12: Incorporate the cooked spam.

  • Step 13: Add the chopped tomato and sesame oil.

  • Step 14: For the topping:

  • Step 15: Heat 1 tablespoon of oil.

  • Step 16: Fry the eggs sunny side up.

  • Step 17: Place the fried eggs on top of the fried rice and sprinkle with minced chives and sesame seeds.
