Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 4 pounds tomatoes, cored and cut into 1/2 inch dice
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin, ground
  • 2 teaspoons oregano, fresh and chopped
  • 2 teaspoons rosemary, fresh and chopped

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a large pot over medium heat add the honey and cook for 5-10 minutes or until it starts to darken in color.

  • Step 2: Stir in tomatoes and the next 5 ingredients (-cumin) and bring to a simmer.

  • Step 3: Reduce heat to medium low and cook, stirring occasionally for 1 1/2 hours or until it is thickened.

  • Step 4: Remove from heat and scrape into a bowl and let cool completely. Stir in oregano and rosemary and chill for 4 hours or overnight.
