Step 1: Remove any skin from the ham using a sharp knife, leaving a thin layer of fat on top.
Step 2: In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, dried rosemary, dried sage, dried oregano, ground black pepper, and salt to create the spice blend.
Step 3: Rub the spice blend all over the ham, making sure it's evenly coated on all sides.
Step 4: Place the seasoned ham in the crockpot, flat side down.
Step 5: Pour the chicken broth into the crockpot, around the ham, to keep it moist during cooking.
Step 6: Cover the crockpot with the lid and cook on low heat for 4-6 hours or on high heat for 2-3 hours.
Step 7: Once the ham is fully cooked, carefully remove it from the crockpot and transfer it to a serving platter.
Step 8: Optionally, you can use the liquid in the crockpot to make a simple glaze. Pour the liquid into a saucepan and bring it to a simmer over medium heat. Let it cook down until it thickens slightly, then brush over the ham.
Step 9: Slice the ham and serve it warm, drizzling the glaze over the top (if using).
