Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 cup plus 1 tablespoon flour
  • 6 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 (15 ounce) pans apricot halves, packed in juice, drained and sliced, reserving 1/2 cup juice
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 (34 grams) packet instant oatmeal mix (low-sugar maple and brown sugar)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

  • Step 2: To make the filling: in a microwavable safe 8 inch baking dish, combine 1 tablespoon flour and 3 tablespoons brown sugar. Stir in the apricots and the reserved apricot juice. Cover dish with wax paper and microwave on high for 4-5 minutes or until filling begins to bubble, stirring once.

  • Step 3: To make topping combine the butter and 3 tablespoons brown sugar. Stir in oatmeal mix and 1/2 cup flour stirring until combined and crumbly.

  • Step 4: Remove baking dish from microwave and sprinkle topping over filling. Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes.
