Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 12 ounces nonfat milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup onions, minced
  • 2 tablespoons shortening
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • Brown Gravy
  • 12 ounces brown gravy (1 jar)
  • 1/4 teaspoon B.V. broth concentrate
  • 1/2 teaspoon beef bouillon
  • 1/8 cup water, boiling

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.

  • Step 2: Use shortening to grease meatloaf pan.

  • Step 3: Soak bread crumbs in milk 15 minutes.

  • Step 4: Saute onions in shortening.

  • Step 5: Mix seasonings to taste into eggs, and add bread crumbs and eggs to meat and mix.

  • Step 6: Bake in 325 degree oven for 75 minutes until done cut into 14 slices.

  • Step 7: Heat water to boiling, add bullion and concentrate, add gravy after cooling it a bit and bring to a boil again.

  • Step 8: Pour gravy over piece of meatloaf.
