Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound dry linguine
  • 6 cups water, boiling
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons sugar, to taste
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt, to taste
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Garnish
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, minced

How to Make

  • Step 1: Have everything portioned up, it's going to go fast.

  • Step 2: Cook the pasta in heavily salted boiling water until al dente.

  • Step 3: Drain.

  • Step 4: Melt the butter over medium high heat in a wok.

  • Step 5: Toss in the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.

  • Step 6: Add ginger and toss in noodles.

  • Step 7: Drizzle with sesame oil and stir to mix.

  • Step 8: Add sugar, (start with a tablespoon and add more if needed ) soy sauce, teriyaki sauce and toss to combine.

  • Step 9: Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  • Step 10: Remove from heat and sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions.

  • Step 11: Toss.
