How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

  • Step 2: Wash the zucchini and cut them into long, thin strips resembling fries. Remove any excess moisture by patting them dry with a paper towel.

  • Step 3: In a shallow bowl, combine the almond flour, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, and salt. Mix well.

  • Step 4: In another bowl, beat the eggs.

  • Step 5: Dip each zucchini strip into the beaten eggs, ensuring it's fully coated, then transfer it to the almond flour mixture. Coat the zucchini strip evenly with the mixture, pressing gently to adhere the coating.

  • Step 6: Place the coated zucchini strips in a single layer in the preheated air fryer basket. You may need to cook them in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.

  • Step 7: Cook the zucchini fries in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they turn golden brown and crispy.

  • Step 8: Once cooked, remove the zucchini fries from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese. Serve them with a jarred marinara sauce for dipping.
