Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup oats
  • 3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons butter, unsalted, melted
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 1/2 cups blackberry jam or your favorite jam

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

  • Step 2: Spray a 10 inch square cast-iron skillet with baking spay and dust with flour

  • Step 3: In a bowl toss the first 8 ingredients (all the ingredients except for jam) until moistened and crumbly.

  • Step 4: Press 2/3 of the mixture into the prepared skillet.

  • Step 5: Spread jam on top of the crust and then sprinkle with the remaining mixture.

  • Step 6: Bake for 30-35 minutes, loosely covering with foil the last 5 minutes of baking. Let cool before cutting into bars.
