How to Make

  • Step 1: Cut the broccoli into florets, discarding the tough stems.

  • Step 2: Place the broccoli florets in the Instant Pot.

  • Step 3: Add water or vegetable broth to the Instant Pot.

  • Step 4: Close the lid of the Instant Pot and set the valve to the sealing position.

  • Step 5: Select the "Manual" or "Pressure Cook" setting and set the cooking time to 1 minute on high pressure.

  • Step 6: The Instant Pot will take a few minutes to come to pressure, and then the cooking time will start.

  • Step 7: Once the cooking time is complete, perform a quick release by carefully turning the valve to the venting position to release the pressure.

  • Step 8: Open the Instant Pot and drain any excess liquid from the broccoli.

  • Step 9: Add the Cheez Whiz to the Instant Pot with the broccoli.

  • Step 10: Sprinkle in the garlic powder and season with salt and pepper to taste.

  • Step 11: Stir well until the cheese is melted and the broccoli is coated in the sauce.

  • Step 12: If desired, add optional toppings such as shredded cheddar cheese, bacon bits, or chopped green onions.
