Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, minced
  • 1/2 cup onion, minced
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 egg
  • Dredge
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 28 ounces tomatoes, diced (1 can)
  • 1/2 cup onion, diced

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix meat, onion, parsley, cilantro, egg and a bit of flour, salt and pepper to taste in a bowl.

  • Step 2: Form meatballs by hand size of a walnut.

  • Step 3: Coat with flour dredge and brown in a pan with heated Olive oil.

  • Step 4: Remove meatballs.

  • Step 5: Lower the heat and brown the chopped onion, add the canned tomato, add the meat balls back and cook for 15 mins.

  • Step 6: Add salt and pepper to taste.
