  • 2 cups flour

  • 1/2 cup walnuts, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

How to Make

  • Step 1: Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.

  • Step 2: Preheat oven to 375°F.

  • Step 3: Cream butter and sugar in a large bowl.

  • Step 4: Add vanilla beat.

  • Step 5: Add sifted flour, and stir until the mixture forms a thick dough.

  • Step 6: Set aside.

  • Step 7: Filling:

  • Step 8: Combine the nuts, sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.

  • Step 9: Form 1 inch balls with a scoop(melon baller), with the dough, and press the center to form a dent for the filling.

  • Step 10: Fill each cookie with about a teaspoon of the filling, and place the cookies on the parchment.

  • Step 11: Bake 15-20 minutes or until golden.

  • Step 12: Cool on wire racks.
