Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh gingerroot
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 cup plain yogurt (natural yogurt)
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 2 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

How to Make

  • Step 1: Grate fresh ginger, put in bowl.

  • Step 2: Peel and crush garlic cloves and add to bowl.

  • Step 3: Measure out and add remaining ingredients (except chicken)and stir until well mixed.

  • Step 4: Slice chicken breasts into fillets.

  • Step 5: Coat chicken breasts with sauce and marinate in fridge overnight.

  • Step 6: Soak kabob sticks (if using) in water for 10 minutes.

  • Step 7: Put chicken fillets on kabob sticks and place on preheated grill and barbeque until firm and cooked.

  • Step 8: Serve with saffron rice.
