How to Make

  • Step 1: In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, mustard powder, white vinegar, olive oil, minced garlic, dried thyme, paprika, and black pepper to make the marinade.

  • Step 2: In a separate large bowl, combine the sausage pieces, Swedish meatballs, bell peppers, and red onion.

  • Step 3: Pour the marinade over the sausage, meatballs, and vegetables. Toss well to coat all the ingredients evenly. Allow the mixture to marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight in the refrigerator.

  • Step 4: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

  • Step 5: Thread the marinated sausage, meatballs, bell peppers, and red onion onto skewers, alternating the ingredients.

  • Step 6: Season the kabobs with salt and pepper to taste.

  • Step 7: Brush the grill grates with olive oil to prevent sticking.

  • Step 8: Place the kabobs on the preheated grill and cook for about 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the sausage and meatballs are cooked through and the vegetables are tender.

  • Step 9: Remove the kabobs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.

  • Step 10: Garnish with freshly chopped parsley, if desired.
