Step 1: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
Step 2: Wash and scrub the sweet potatoes to remove any dirt or debris. (I left the skin on; you can peel, if you prefer.)
Step 3: Cut the sweet potatoes lengthwise into 1/2-inch thick slices.
Step 4: In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, ground cumin, ground coriander, ground cinnamon, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well to form a flavorful marinade.
Step 5: Brush the marinade onto both sides of the sweet potato slices, ensuring they are well coated.
Step 6: Place the sweet potato slices directly on the grill grates. Cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until grill marks appear and the sweet potatoes are tender.
Step 7: Once the sweet potatoes are grilled to your liking, remove them from the grill and transfer to a serving platter.
Step 8: Sprinkle fresh cilantro over them sweet potatoes, if desired.
Step 9: Serve hot with lime wedges on the side, to squeeze over the sweet potatoes.
