We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, ground paprika, ground turmeric, ground cinnamon, salt, and black pepper to make the marinade.

  • Step 2: Place the chicken drumsticks in a large zip-top bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the drumsticks and toss well to coat them evenly. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results. Allow the chicken to marinate and absorb the flavors.

  • Step 3: Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the chicken drumsticks from the marinade and let any excess marinade drip off.

  • Step 4: Place the drumsticks on the grill and cook for about 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has reached an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). The drumsticks should be nicely charred and golden brown on the outside.

  • Step 5: Transfer the grilled chicken drumsticks to a serving platter. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.

  • Step 6: Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the chicken, if desired.
