  • 1 cup converted white rice
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Pepper, as desired
  • Sharp cheddar cheese

How to Make

  • Step 1: Brown ground beef with onion and garlic. Add converted rice, tomato sauce and boiling water and salt. Season with pepper. Stir well and pour into casserole dish. Cover top with grated cheese.

  • Step 2: Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.
