  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons tahini (sesame paste)

  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt, to taste
  • Water (as needed for desired consistency)
  • Optional toppings: drizzle of olive oil, sprinkle of paprika, chopped parsley

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a food processor or blender, add the drained and rinsed chickpeas, almonds, garlic cloves, lemon juice, tahini, olive oil, cumin, and a pinch of salt.

  • Step 2: Blend the mixture until it starts to come together, pausing occasionally to scrape down the sides of the container.

  • Step 3: Gradually add water, a tablespoon at a time, while blending until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency. Continue to blend until all the ingredients are well combined.
