Step 2: Stir in the raisins, cloves, and dates, and cook for 15 minutes over medium heat.
Step 3: Stirring frequently as not to burn.
Step 4: Add the lemon juice and cook for another 5 minutes, then remove from heat and allow to cool.
Step 5: Remove the cloves.
Step 6: Place in fruit cups with liquid.
Step 7: Whip the cream until frothy, then spoon over the dates and sprinkle with pistachios before serving.
