  • 2 large overripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F.

  • Step 2: Combine butter, sugar and beat until light and fluffy.

  • Step 3: Add eggs and sour cream; mix well.

  • Step 4: Combine dry ingredients and mashed bananas to wet mixture; add lemon juice, stirring until blended.

  • Step 5: Fold in mini chocolate chips.

  • Step 6: Pour half of the mixture into a standard loaf pan; sprinkle half the nuts over the batter.

  • Step 7: Pour on remaining batter; top with remaining nuts.

  • Step 8: Bake 50 minutes or until it tests done (with a toothpick inserted into the middle of the loaf and comes out dry).
