Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 16 ounces dry spaghetti
  • 6 cups water, boiling
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 cup onions, chopped
  • 1 cup green bell pepper, diced
  • 6 ounces tomato paste (1can)
  • 28 ounces tomatoes (1 can)
  • 2 cups water
  • Spices
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons chicken bouillon
  • Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, minced

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat oil.

  • Step 2: Add onion and bell pepper.

  • Step 3: Cook until translucent.

  • Step 4: Add tomato paste, curry powder and cayenne pepper.

  • Step 5: Cook just a minute.

  • Step 6: Add tomatoes.

  • Step 7: Add rest of spices.

  • Step 8: Add water that you have rinsed out cans with.

  • Step 9: Simmer 30 minutes until cooked down

  • Step 10: After getting sauce going cook spaghetti al dente in heavily salted boiling water.

  • Step 11: Drain.

  • Step 12: Add cooked drained spaghetti and cook a few minutes in sauce.

  • Step 13: Season to taste.

  • Step 14: Add parsley and toss.
