Step 1: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Step 2: In a roasting pan add the chicken, skin side up and season with salt and pepper and then sprinkle with the ginger.
Step 3: Spread the marmalade over the chicken.
Step 4: Then pour the two juices (apple and orange) over all.
Step 5: Place in oven and bake for 20 minutes.
Step 6: Remove from oven and scatter the dried apricots and currants into the pan and around the chicken pieces.
Step 7: Return to oven and bake for 45 minutes or until chicken is golden brown, basting frequently.
Step 8: Transfer chicken and fruits to serving platter and spoon the pan juices over the chicken and the dried fruits.
Step 9: Serve the remaining juices on the side.
