Step 1: In a Pam sprayed crockpot, add everything but kale, use ham bullion to taste.
Step 2: Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 8 hours or on high-heat setting for 5 hours.
Step 3: Stir in kale.
Step 4: If on low-heat setting, turn to high-heat setting. Cover and cook for 30 minutes more.
