The ingredients are:
  • Sandwich:
  • 4 ounces rye bread
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup baby lettuces
  • 4 radishes, sliced thin
  • Egg Salad:
  • 4 eggs, hard boiled
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1/4 ounces sour cream, (1 tablespoon)
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon shallot, minced
  • 1 teaspoon capers, rinsed, drained and chopped coarsely
  • 1 teaspoon fresh chives, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, minced
  • 1/16 teaspoon salt
  • 1/16 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix egg salad together, seasoning to taste. They used a whole shallot minced you do to taste, they also used fresh tarragon, I don't care for that flavor profile but you do you.

  • Step 2: Butter the rye bread they used a dense rye brod (bread).

  • Step 3: Place baby lettuce over the butter.

  • Step 4: Place a heaping tablespoon of egg salad on one side and layer a ring of radishes around the edge of salad.
