Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground pepper
  • Tartar sauce:
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon dill pickle relish
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons garlic, smashed
  • 1 teaspoon dried minced onion
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Serve:
  • 8 ounces hamburger buns,(8), warmed
  • 1/2 cup dill pickle chips
  • 8 ounces American cheese, sliced,(8)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Stir together all the tartar sauce ingredients until well mixed and refrigerate overnight so the flavors can meld.

  • Step 2: Mix the burger ingredients and form into 8 patties. Frisch's burger patties are very thin, probably 1/8 lb.

  • Step 3: But these are larger, if making a double burger do smaller patties.

  • Step 4: Grill Burgers until done after flipping add cheese so it melts.

  • Step 5: Slather tartar sauce on top and bottom of warmed bun.

  • Step 6: Place burger on top of bottom bun and place 3 dill pickles on top and put together.
