Step 1: Preheat oven to 425 F.
Step 2: Beat the cream cheese, sugar, ONE egg and vanilla until smooth. Spread it evenly in the unbaked pie crust.
Step 3: Sprinkle the pecans evenly over the filling.
Step 4: In a medium bowl, beat the remaining THREE eggs, corn syrup and brown sugar until smooth and well combined. Pour over the pecans, smoothing to cover all.
Step 5: Bake for 10 minutes. Reduce the heat to 375 F and bake for another 25-30 minutes or until set and golden. Cool before slicing.
