The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound frozen cauliflower florets
  • 1 cup onion, chopped,
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 clove garlic, smashed
  • 3 ounces dry white rice,(1/2 cup)
  • 3 cups water
  • 5 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried mint
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat oil in a large skillet, add chopped onions and stir fry until translucent.

  • Step 2: Add the tomato paste turmeric and garlic.

  • Step 3: Break the cauliflower into small florets and add the florets to the skillet

  • Step 4: Mix well.

  • Step 5: Add 3 cups of water, cover the lid and cook until half tender.

  • Step 6: Add rice, rosemary, dried mint, salt and pepper to taste.

  • Step 7: Cover and cook 20 minutes until rice is cooked, take off heat and leave set 5 minutes.

  • Step 8: Taste and adjust seasoning.
